That means that there are concentric rings of power in the contact lenses and at any given time, your eyes can provide 3 different images to your brain for distance, computer, and reading, simultaneously. It’s your brain’s job to decide which image to pay attention to!
Because the power is arranged in rings, vision is possible in any direction. This means reading labels on a shelf above your head, reading your phone in your hand, or looking straight ahead at your computer monitor are all possible without maintaining a head position that a contortionist would celebrate….one that might cause neck pain too.
